We will teach your child to communicate in English

Why is the Bilingualism  program our priority? We are aware that the knowledge of foreign languages in today’s World is not only an asset, but even a necessity. Thanks to the Bilingual program.

How?

In the talking tots Preschool, from the first days, children are immersed in English, which, along with the Turkish language, accompanies every activity: meals, walks, games, and rest. Children learn the foreign language completely naturally and often unconsciously.

In order to provide children with optimal conditions of immersion in the language, we have created our own system of work with children based on three pillars:

Our methods

LANGUAGE IMMERSION – immersion in a foreign language

English teachers speak to children only in a foreign language

English-language education runs in parallel with Polish-language education using all programs used in Talking Tots Preschool.

CLIL – Content and Language Integrated Learning

foreign language is used to conduct various preschool activities (science, mathematics, workshops and research, social, art, sports)

TPR – a method of reacting with the whole body

we take into account the natural need of physical activity in children, therefore the new content is accompanied by movement facilitating understanding and remembering

CLT – communicative language teaching

communication is a means and an end here, and activities are based on cooperation in pairs and groups, at the same time shaping social skills in children

DIRECT METHOD

when we work with this method, the most important thing is for the children is to talk and listen a lot in a foreign language; we encourage them to ask lots of questions in English and to formulate as many answers as possible

LETTERS & SOUNDS – phonetic language learning program

it is used in preschools and schools in Great Britain. It is the best modern method of developing the ability to recognize sounds, listen, build words, and then read in English.

Who?

English-speaking teachers

Two teachers, Turkish and English, work in bilingual groups: the English-speaking teacher communicates with everyone (children, parents, Turkish-speaking teacher and the staff) only in English. It is the most natural and effective form of bilingual education, based on the OPOL system – “one person: one language”. Both languages are learned simultaneously, in a completely stress-free way, often unnoticed by children – during play and everyday activities.

The educational interactive programs

A social, interactive programs that loves teaching English to kids., and is always able to involve children in joyful play. It can recognize and react to many accessories – interactive cards, badges, stickers and stuffed toys which arouse children’s curiosity and makes them begin to communicate and function in English. It knows that for children play is essential in the process of gaining new knowledge and skills. That’s why it knows all the fun games. Programs engages children in physical, artistic and musical activities. Everything is in English, but the fun is so great that children immersed in the language forget that they are learning it.

Foreign languages teaching methodologist

The methodologist takes care of the proper implementation of the program, observes, discusses the classes, monitors world trends in foreign language education, analyzes the latest research in the field, and develops strategies for teaching foreign languages in our preschools. He supports parents: introduces them to the world of bilingualism, helps them understand the linguistic development of children and answers all their questions.

Why?

In addition to knowing a foreign language at an early age, bilingual children:

learn other foreign languages faster and easier.
treat utterances in a foreign language not as an “event” or “performance”, but as a natural activity.

have a well-trained memory, are good at multitasking, are willing to solve tasks and puzzles.

are flexible, adapt to changes more easily, are more open to new, unknown situations, and create relationships with others more easily.

Bilingual children – the benefits of teaching two languages early

Many parents are increasingly recognizing the benefits of teaching their children two languages early on. No wonder, because speaking and writing in a language other than the mother tongue is extremely useful in today’s world and in the era of growing professional requirements.

What is intentional bilingualism?

Intentional bilingualism means consciously introducing a second language into a child’s life from an early age. In the context of kindergarten, this approach can be implemented during classes, games and everyday activities simultaneously in both languages: Türkish and English. This gives children the opportunity to acquire both languages naturally.

How to introduce bilingualism in children?

The best way to introduce bilingualism in preschool children is to immerse the child in both Türkish and English every day. This can be done during games, educational activities, everyday activities, reading books, singing songs, etc
conversations in both languages. In the case of a kindergarten, it is important to employ qualified teachers: Türkish-speaking and English-speaking. With the assumption that an English-speaking teacher communicates with everyone: children, teachers, parents, only in English.

What does bilingualism mean in kindergarten?

Bilingualism in kindergarten means that children are taught in two languages at the same time. This not only develops their language skills, but also stimulates cognitive and cultural development. In a bilingual kindergarten, such as Talking tots, from the first days children are immersed in two languages: Türkish and English (language immersion). English, along with Türkish, accompanies every activity: educational activities, guided and free play, meals, walks, and rest. Thanks to this, children learn English completely naturally and often unconsciously.

How to raise a bilingual child?

Raising a bilingual child requires consistency and commitment. It is worth introducing a second language into a child’s everyday life, whether through conversations, reading or listening to music. At preschool age, when a child attends a kindergarten like Pomarańczowa Ciuchcia, it is important that teachers support the development of both languages through organized activities, games and
activities.
